What are "assistive devices" and how can I get more information about them?
"Asssitive devices," also known as "assistive technologies," consist of a wide range of items to help people accomplish various activities of daily living. Assistive devices can be simple or complex. Examples of assistive devices include special magnifiers; grips or handles; wheelchairs and lifts; customized computer software or hardware; and many other items.
