New Horizon Adult Day Center

New Horizon Adult Day Center offers day programming and personal care services in a safe, homelike environment for individuals 18 years of age and older who have physical or cognitive impairments and who require ongoing supervision and support. The program affords participants an opportunity for socialization, while providing family members with respite from their ongoing caregiving responsibilities. The program features activities which are designed to help participants improve or maintain daily functioning. In addition, snacks and lunch are provided.

New Horizon is operated by the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) and is located in the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna, Delaware. Center hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Fees are based on a sliding scale.
