A part of recovery is having access to reliable transportation for your behavioral and physical health needs. The Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health is offering non-emergent medical transportation services via DTRN's Ride Share program (powered by Roundtrip). This ride-ordering platform is funded through the state’s State Opioid Response grant and is predominately for people with stimulant and opioid use disorders. DTRN Rideshare provides participating DSAMH contracted providers the ability to schedule their eligible clients non-emergent medical transportation via a digital transportation marketplace.
DTRN Rideshare reduces barriers to care:
It's currently available to our community partners in Sussex County due to the highest rates of transportation barriers. This service allows for ride tracking, rider notification, and utilizes a variety of vehicle types to accommodate rider ability. If you receive services in Sussex County, ask your behavioral health/recovery support service provider if they participate with DTRN Rideshare. If you are a DSAMH contracted provider located in Sussex County and you would like to have access to DTRN Rideshare please send an inquiry to dsamhcares360@delaware.gov.
