This space is dedicated to offer information, support, and resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Delaware. These resources provide basic information about DDDS, DDDS Services, and which services can be accessed by life stage.

Through networking, families gain knowledge about vital resources, information about services, and insights from those who have navigated similar paths. It fosters a community where families can share strategies, receive emotional support, and advocate together for services and policies.

These resources can help with goal setting & organizing support teams.

Respite is a service designed to give primary caregivers a break from the stress of taking care of their disabled family member. DDDS has two sources for Respite funding, non-waiver Respite services (State-funded) or waiver Respite Services for individuals 18 or older and enrolled in the Lifespan Waiver.
