Respite is a service designed to give primary caregivers a break from the stress of taking care of their disabled family member. DDDS has two sources for Respite funding, non-waiver Respite services (State-funded) or waiver Respite Services for individuals 18 or older and enrolled in the Lifespan Waiver.
