Medical Library

The Delaware Health and Social Services (DHSS) Medical Library features a wide range of health and social service resources. Our skilled specialists provide access to current print and electronic research materials and offer time-saving tools and training to support DHSS employees in helping Delawareans with health- and social service-related questions.

Any Delaware library cardholder may access the DHSS library’s collection of print books and DVDs – including the state’s only graphic medicine comic collection. Search the Delaware Library Catalog here.

DHSS employees have 24/7 access to electronic databases and journal collections through DHSS computers connected through VPN. The library offers three computers on the state network and quiet study spaces.

Request any book from the DHSS collection be sent to your local public library for pickup
