The Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) Course, developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), provides the core cognitive knowledge and skills to prepare pre-hospital professionals for comprehensive assessment and management of critically ill and injured infants and children. The PEPP materials are designed to meet the objectives of the national standard curricula for all levels of emergency medical technicians, as established by the United States Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), for both basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) providers.
