Standard Infant Formula
WIC will provide only contract infant formulas:
- Similac Advance Early Shield
- Similac Soy Isomil (Effective January, 29, 2019)
for infants when standard formula is prescribed. WIC will not provide non-contract formulas that are equivalent to contract formulas.
Special Exempt Formulas and Medical Foods
- WIC will provide these to eligible infants, children and women when there are documented special medical conditions.
- Requests for special formulas or medical foods will be filled for a maximum of six months.
